Rose & Raven is a space in West Kelowna that feels like home to everyone. We love the opportunity to adjust the experience and environment to meet your comfort levels. Need a peaceful easy feeling? let us know and we can schedule your appointment at times when the salon is extra quiet. Don’t hesitate to ask for another cup of tea, or a few extra minutes added to your appointment if you feel you need the extra care. We will always have a consultation at each appointment to reassure we are meeting your hair goals and adjusting to the ever-changing lives of our clients.

We do our best to base appointment pricing on our individual industry experience and expertise as well as the time and product required. We believe in removing gender from our price structure, short, long, thick, or thin, curly straight, or somewhere in between; we have the skills to care for everyone’s hair. The Raven is an education-centric salon and we are constantly levelling up our skills to stay inspired and on top of our hair game. We love feedback and given the opportunity we will do whatever it takes to learn and adjust our practices and space to meet your needs and give you perfect hair.

First-time appointments will be scheduled for the maximum time estimated, we can adjust timing when booking future appointments. Feel free to schedule extra time if you feel like you may need a little more care.

HAIRCUTS

All haircut services are tailored to accommodate your individual hair needs, taking into consideration the time required for your specific hair type and desired outcome. If you are uncertain about which service to choose, we recommend having a consultation or booking a standard service as a starting point.

For clients with exceptionally thick and/or long hair, are in for a big change of style, those needing additional styling or education, or if you prefer your stylist to dedicate extra time to various aspects of your service, we suggest scheduling a long appointment. This ensures that you receive the detailed attention and care your hair deserves. All services include styling and knowledge on maintenance and upkeep after.

SERVICES WITH DYLAN

Dylan Is the owner of Rose & Raven, He began hairdressing in 2004 in Alberta although he grew up around the industry and has always been an artist. He has lived and trained in Vancouver, Toronto working for top salons such as Toni & Guy and traveled the world learning and sharing his knowledge. Coming to West Kelowna in 2015 Dylan built himself as a stylist, educator , and fil hair department head before opening Rose & Raven. Education continues to play a huge role in Dylan’s career traveling North America to teach and attend hair workshops regularly. He is the local educator for EVO haircare in the souther interior.

  • Short Cut: $65 (This 45-60* minute appointment often suits finer hair textures of all lengths for regular maintenance. )

  • Haircut The Standard: $75 (this 60-75* minute appointment suits almost everyone and allows time for a consultation. )

  • Haircut Long\Thick \New You: $85 (90 minute appointment, extra time for extra hair, or maybe you're just extra and want some extra time in the salon. Perfect if you are looking to become a new person.)

SERVICES WITH BRENDA

Brenda started her hair journey in 2018 and Joined the raven January 2024. She loves vivid haircolours and getting out her clippers for a short taper cut. She may seek guidance from a mentor stylist for some services in an effort to perfect her skills as we are continually learning at The Raven

  • Haircut The Standard: $45 ( 75-90 Minute Appointment that is pretty much for everyone.)
